About the project
We're on a mission to bring essential products and services to food deserts throughout urban areas in the United States. Our team of dedicated researchers and developers is committed to finding innovative solutions to address the critical issue of food insecurity in underserved communities. We believe that everyone deserves access to healthy, affordable food, regardless of where they live or their socioeconomic status.
Our work is grounded in rigorous research and data analysis, and we partner with local organizations and community groups to understand the unique needs and challenges of each community we serve. Through our cutting-edge research and development, we're able to create products and services that meet the specific needs of each community, from mobile food markets to community gardens to innovative food distribution systems.
At Integrated R&D, we're passionate about making a real difference in people's lives and creating a more equitable food system for all. Join us in our mission to bring healthy, affordable food to every community in America.
Starting point
The first step to understand the scope of the project was to learn what shaped a the Ubran planning and to find out how we could make improvements.
Support from local communities
Location, scale, and accessibility was absolutely crucial to this project. We wanted to make the biggest but most realistic impact to communities starting with the inner city of Cleveland, Ohio.
End result
As a result of our efforts to connect local farms and greenhouses, restaurants, schools, and other resources, we envision a community with increased access to fresh, nutritious, locally grown foods. We imagine a thriving local food system that supports small farmers and businesses, reduces food waste, and promotes healthy eating habits. We see schools and restaurants serving up delicious, healthy meals made with locally sourced ingredients, and individuals and families empowered to make healthy choices and support their local economy. Ultimately, we hope to create a more sustainable, equitable food system that benefits everyone in the community.
